Associate Professor Emeritus Richard H. Lindemann, an accomplished but humble paleontologist described by colleagues as the backbone of ¹ú²ú̽»¨â€™s Geosciences program for four decades, passed away on Aug 5. He was 74.

Betty (Boyer) Platt, who supported several academic departments at ¹ú²ú̽»¨ for two decades, died Jan. 29, 2021. She was 98.
